Our Mission (continued)

The secondary mission of the Fraud, Identity Theft and Scam Team is to prevent fraud from happening by education and prevention. The Fraud, Identity Theft and Scam Team is a proactive multi-jurisdictional task force that has over one-hundred years of law enforcement and retail experience serving the citizens of Livingston County. 

If you should be unlucky enough to be involved in fraud crime, know that you may be subjected to both state and federal prosecution as the member agencies see fit.   

The Fraud, Identity Theft and Scam Team believe that knowledge is power and will continue to educate, inform and protect the community from frauds and cheats.
